About the calculator
The dataset for calculation of age and sex-specific suPAR levels is based on 9303 healthy Danish blood donors aged 18-651. Data beyond 65 years of age are from a study on suPAR in seniors2. The pace of aging is calculated from data presented in a study on the association between elevated suPAR and accelerated aging3. suPAR levels were measured using suPARnostic® ELISA from ViroGates, Denmark.
